Domestic garden borders - Horse tail turned dark brown/black within 7 days (nothing else I have tried has been so effective), raked off and cleared area and put in some shrubs after about 2 weeks, so far so good; next year's re-growth will be interesting so I am buying and cutting some drain pipes ready (see google tips on treating individual fronds) as I realise this could take a few years in total. I would recommend this bundle.

This was my first purchase, having been told that I would never irradicate Marestail I was apprehensive however it has proved to be very effective and results can be seen within 3-4 days with plants totally dead in about 14 days. Very effective.

So far so good. I have sprayed the dastardly horsetail and all the top growth has died. The stems still show signs of green inside when pulled up. Because we garden on heavy clay soil I think it will take two or three applications over a couple of years before we can say that it has really gone. However this is the best killer that we have applied so far in 50 years of trying to rid ourselves of it.

Perfect, this has killed all the current growth in my drive. Two applications and all I have to do now is the rake up next week. Unfortunately I will have to keep this product to hand as the mares tail encroaches from a neighbour whose gardening style is more suited to a 10th story flat.

My garden was infested with horsetail. I have used Kurtail for three successive seasons and have almost eradicated this dreadful weed. Persistence pays.

2 weeks after applying to my vast mat of marestail only a few flecks of green are left. Most of it blackened by the end of the first week. Now to clear it all off and check for regrowth. It seems to be doing a good job clearing my brambles too, but more slowly.
