“Bought 500ml this year as a test to get rid of Marestail. Seems to work. Goes brown and dies off over a couple of weeks. Better than trying to pull it out every week. The only bit that appears thereafter seems to be new shoots in different places. So we have now bought 2litres to use in future.”

“It does work to some extent, more by slowing the weed growth down. Although I have to say that just digging them up slows them down too which would be a damn sight cheaper than the extortionate price that this retails for. Also when this stops being available, what will you be left with?”

Thanks for leaving a review. Horsetail/ marestail is a plant very high in silica and so deflects a liquid naturally and most products are not effective. We have developed Kurtail Gold as the most effective remedy for this invasive weed. However it is not a quick fix and it’s something that will need a number of treatments and may never disappear. It should be applied when the plant is at least 6-8 inches high and green coloured. “This is an excellent product. I have tried various others to treat marestail and they have not been as effective as Kurtail Gold. Within days of application the marestail turned black and died. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.”
