“Tried it out on a few mares tail in my garden to see if it works. I first trod on the plant so as to help break the glossy surface it has (my tip). Now over a week gone by and plant is very brown above the surface - so so far so good therefore. What it is doing to the root only time will tell. Happy so far.”

“This is the only product I have come across that kills ‘horses tail/ mates tail’. We find the occasional new one sprouting in other places but so far where we have treated it has not come back…. Time will tell on this.”

“Moved in to the property and the back garden was full of mare tails. Found your product and used it twice and it seemed to have done the job. But one or two where we had missed came back so sprayed again. Pleased to say that seems to have done the trick and they are all black and dead. Would recommend this product.”

“This is good stuff but I have mares tail growing in from neighbours garden.. I brush the liquid directly onto the plants which destroys them and surrounding grass/lawn about 3 inches square..it won’t stop the marestail growing back however..I hate the stuff..I have built a plastic sheet wall around 1.5 metres deep down to the sand layer and layered lime when back filling to raise ph to 7. This has helped to prevent new stuff growing but the mares tail already established within my boundaries continue to grow..just don’t know what to do!!”
