“As a private individual with Mayor's Tail in Garden/ Drive etc I had to ring to find amount of solution per 4.5 l spray ( single useage only commercial useage given in literature). All Mayor's Tail now died off after first spray. No other product has touched in 5 years of trying various products recommended by Garden Centres. Therefore although expensive 500 ml should last for years at the stated 2 applications per year.”

“I purchased kurtail gold to treat horsetail. So far it seems to have done what it was meant to but time will tell after several treatments if it has got rid of it permanently. Fingers crossed.”

“Very effective particularly where the weed is exposed to direct sunlight. There was some horse tail between bamboo plants. Sprayed them with care bamboo looks unaffected but horse tail is slowly fading.”

“Sprayed a large shrub bed about 3 weeks ago(avoiding the shrubs) and after a week the mares tails started to darken and are now black.It will be interesting to see if there is any re growth. First product I have ever used to show any success against this horrible weed.”

“I used it to spray an infestation of horses tail and mos of them have turned black and appeared to have died. I recently tried using a paint brush to kill some horse steal which is growing I through an other plant and it looks as if it is working.”

“Excellent results on horsetail one week on from spraying, all visible growth looking very dead. Nothing else I have tried has has anything approaching this effect. Previous sprayings with strong glyphosate have had no effect at all.”
