“I spent back-breaking hours repeatedly digging up horsetail, imagining I would weaken it to exhaustion whereas it was actually doing that to me. I saw positive reviews for this product and, though I thought it rather expensive, decided to try it. It is worth the money! After a first treatment the weed showed signs of dying within three days. Within a few weeks it was black and withered. Some new growth appeared, presumably as the deep roots had not yet been killed, and with evil pleasure I sprayed those once they looked healthy. Perhaps it will need a further treatment or two over the next year but it certainly seems to achieve its purpose well.”

“Not quite finished the previous bottle, so not opened the new one and don't know if it's the same blue liquid which I purchased under the name Weedex. I gather that it has also been known as Banish. Weedex was very effective against Marestails. It slaughters them & appears to be carried back to the rhizomes thus upsetting them a great deal. The following year numbers were greatly reduced and rarely came back in the same place. Numbers are well down after 2/3 years use but it's a losing battle as neighbours on each side have lots and don't see a lot wrong with them. Maretails don't see fences. Brambles also stray in to the garden from nearby wasteland.. Weedex / Banish destroys them as well. Like the Mares tails they go brown/black and shrivel. V. satisfied user.”

“I recently took over the care of my late father-in-law's, mares tail ridden, garden. What a relief to find Kurtail Gold online. Having read the reviews I put an order in and began using KG straight away. The effect showed within days, wilting foliage began to turn black two weeks later. I realise that repeat treatment will be necessary due to the heavy infestation but this is the first effective product I've found that shows great results.”

“Definitely worth the £50! My whole back garden was littered with horsetail, 1 application of this stuff has nearly decimated all of it! Need to put down a second application and I think it will have all been decimated. A little goes a long way, I think this stuff will last me for years to come!”

“seems to have worked a treat, these horse tail weeds are a nightmare to get rid of but they don't like this stuff as they have all turned black and withered in a few days”

“Have been using this for 6 years on my allotment to tackle mares-tail, nothing compares to this product. Others claim to kill it, but this works in days. Great for use in between crops if you use a small paintbrush to apply. Expensive, but worth every penny”

“I used Kurtail Gold on an 'invasion' of horsetail weeds in a part of my garden. Two days after them being sprayed it was obvious that they were on their way out. They went from being bright green to a muddy dull green in that time. I sprayed them again after four days which seemed to finish them off. A month later and they are all dead, it has also killed off near by bind weed. When it comes to Kurtail Gold it is quite obvious that horsetail does not like it up 'em! (On them)”
