“I have tried several products to control Horse Tail usually based on glyphosate however Kurtail now Kurtail Gold is the only herbicide that acually works . It was very effective and turned the weed brown within a week .”

“I bought Kurtail Gold to try to eradicate Horsetail which had encroached from a burn side up a banking to a gravelled area that was hardly ever used. Over the previous 2 years we tried Glyphosate on it but the horsetail laughed in our faces and continued to spread like a rampant wildfire. Determined not to be beaten I spent an afternoon carefully spraying the Kurtail and then waited. Within 24 hours you could see it had started to take effect and within 3 days the lush green mini forest had been reduced to dry looking brushwood!! We then took a flame gun over the dead stuff - Rambo style - and burned every last bit to a crisp. So satisfying!! There is still an area to be done as soon as the ninja showers of this summer give us a chance but the treated areas continue to expand and the remaining horsetail is being eaten into and weakened. Kurtail Gold worked really well and 0.5ltr has left me with enough to continue treating the rest and any other stray parts if any pop up. Definitely worth the money and the savings of time and further hassle in the long run. Now to spray the "normal" perennial weeds with Glyphosate so we get back to no green on that ground. No messing!!”
