“Very expensive and only browns the top part of the plant, does not seem to penetrate far down enough and even had green shoots sprouting off poisoned plants. One plant i sprayed it had no effect on at all.”

Hi Mark, Horsetail is extremely difficult to control. Its root system grows very deeply and can regenerate from the tiniest piece. Many sprays are ineffective but Kurtail Gold and its predecessors have been sold for many years with great success on a variety of target weeds – including horsetail/ marestail. We make a special point of explaining horsetail is extremely invasive and may require regular control in the future.

“Having tried many methods over a number of years to get rid of Horsetail, I came across Kurtail Gold. It is fantastic. two weeks after the first application it was black, then a second application got rid of any stragglers. Thank you so much ProGreen.”

“This stuff appears to work miracles, thought it was a bit pricey at first but worth every penny so far, the horsetail is turning black and dying off hopefully to never return definitely recommend and would definitely purchase again from you delivery was very fast and customer service was impeccable 5*”

“Has work well in 5 days and killed everything but creeping buttercup? It also give you a good idea about your spraying tecnique! My main problem was marestail and this has been delt with well. I will use roundup on the creeping buttercup weather permitting.”
