“I bought glufosinate ( Kurtail ) to control Mares Tail, for which it is specially advertised. The weeds died back quickly but I wonder how effective the treatment will be as I read that Glufosinate does not translocate and only kills the part of the plant that is treated. Mares Tail as you know has a deep root network I'd be grateful for your comments on this John”

“havig been in the horticultural industry for the last 30plus years,i have used this weedkiller in many guises over the years,it does what it says it will. further applications at a later date may be required,its not the cheapest weedkiller available,but whats the point on spending if it doesn't work. great product would recommend.”

“This stuff is the business. After trying for the past two years to get rid of horsetail without success, tried this and seeing actual death. Within a week they started turning black. Within two weeks they started shrivelling up. Love it. Thank you.”

“Sprayed the horse tail and within 3 days the shoots had gone black and brittle. However in a couple of weeks we have noticed that a lot of new growth has emerged. We are currently spraying that and hoping that several applications may do the trick but only time will tell.”
