“my order was processed very quickly and efficiently and arrived at my home address as forecast. The container is a perfect size and very strong and rigid. Dilution is easy and mixing straighforward. I have used the product on bracken, bramble, horsetail,dandelion any many other broad leaved weeds and it kills all of them quickly. When spraying this product you must be extra careful to avoid contact with your garden plants and shrubs as this product is very potent and the slightest overspray will affect what you want to retain.”

Hi Sue - thank you for your review. Often when this situation occurs it indicates that the horsetail has not been sprayed sufficiently. The herbicide only works with what it has come into contact with (hence the tips only going brown). When spraying you need to spray to the point of run-off over the whole plant growth. Additionally in hot temperatures if sprayed in the heat of the day the spray will evaporate too quickly to give it time to work into the plant. The new shoots /re-growth are unfortunately expected as Kurtail Gold controls the active growth and works to reduce the vigour of the root system with persistent and consistent application. There is nothing on the market that will kill the whole root network in one go.
