“This horse tail weed killer is the best on the market. My garden was full of the weed for years getting worse and worse. Kurtail Gold has totally killed it all in one application. I have used it on other problem weeds and the results have been amazing. I would definitely recommend Kurtail Gold.”

“We bought this to kill off our mairs tail weed which has overtaken our piece of land, it makes it die back but in no way does it kill the weed completely, it only helps to control it, I understand from other reviews that mairs tail, is a weed that simply cannot be completely got rid off, however it is the only thing we have found that works in any small way.”

Hi Nancy - thanks for leaving a review. Horsetail / Marestail is a plant very high in silica and so deflects liquid naturally and most products are not effective. We have developed Kurtail Gold as the most effective remedy for this invasive weed. Repeated applications of Kurtail Gold are still the best option - the problem lies underground with the mass of rhizomes/ roots which provide a huge source of stored energy. Therefore regular use helps to reduce the vigour of the root system. Thanks - The ProGreen Team

“Very helpful. I have been using Kurtail Gold for my marestail, knotweed and ivy with excellent results. It's a shame it is being withdrawn. I must say, I do not like to use sprays, but with these strong weeds it is the only way. Once down and out I shall try and go green!”
