“At the moment I have only used the Weed Stick on large thistles in a pasture field. So far, the results look pretty good, but I need to use it a bit more before you get a five star rating! The stick is light and easy to use, and when using glyphosate I can cover a large number of weeds with the stick just one third full of chemical. It would be helpful if you could supply a cheap red dye so that I could easily identify which thistles I had covered. It is easy to get a bit lost when treating thistles in a thirteen acre field!”

“Difficult to use, unless your weeds are large, as the sponge is very hard and tends to push away the leaf that you are trying to wipe. Also there does not seem to be very much weedkiller coming through the sponge. Disappointed particularly at the price plus the very hefty cost of postage which is not mentioned until the payment screen. Would not recommend.”

“Great for spot weeding those perennial weeds in between flowers and shrubs without affecting them. Also weeding other areas. No spray to worry about as it is direct sponge application. Spare sponges available.”

“The weedstick+ is an excellent bit of kit for spot treating weeds in graveled areas, lawns, borders and beds. Capable of precise application, no dripping and economical in the use of herbicides. The only problem was that on second use the plug at the top of the tube shattered - this has now been replaced by the manufacturer thanks to the efforts of the Progreen Team.”
