The weedstick+ is an excellent bit of kit for spot treating weeds in graveled areas, lawns, borders and beds. Capable of precise application, no dripping and economical in the use of herbicides. The only problem was that on second use the plug at the top of the tube shattered - this has now been replaced by the manufacturer thanks to the efforts of the Progreen Team.

Arrived on time, works well with blue dye to show treated weeds, glad I purchased extra sponge as original split and after one hours use.

Very good on problem grasses such as Tor grass but better off using a Weed wiper for shrub seedlings such as Hawthorn and Blackthorn as the wick will last longer than the sponge.

It`s early days and they have been used but once, reports suggest positive reaction from staff apart from one of the sponges has a tendency to foam, and the filler cap leaks (suggest better seals), but the devices saves bending down to treat cut sapling stumps, (from a H&S / wellbeing point of view this is a massive +). regards, Fallon.

Waste of time, don't bother with this item. Continuley driping weed killer even when not in use. Waste of cash!

Thank you for your feedback. Since it was introduced, the Weedstick+ has been extremely popular for a no-drift, no-spray spot treatment regime. The gravity fed Weedstick soaks a sponge when pressure is applied but there is a stop plunger inside the sponge to prevent further leaks and, when not in use, it should be carried upright – sponge uppermost. If there is anything you would like to discuss with us - please do not hesitate to contact us.
