Excellent product as described. Great for woodturning sanding in confined area. Easily accommodates glasses without any fogging. Great value all round!

Reliable and efficient to date. Good at keeping your air clean and preventing steam up of spectacles. For me the power button would have been ideal a little lower to aid in easy reach and the faceshield with the capacity to be put back a little further.

Tried it on adjusting several times the top head band, till it was comfortable, rather fiddly. When switching on, found when woodturning the noise rather distracting even with standard ear defenders. I find it difficult to think because of the distraction. May try ear plugs or buy the ear defenders that are a extra that fits on the helmet ( may be the vibration of the battery powered motor through the skull is the problem ) The air flow down the front of the mask does stop misting up, but in a cool shop, is rather cold draught. The visor isn't long enough/ restrictive in viewing when looking down, will need getting used too. Now I have forked out the purchase price there is no going back, maybe I should have tried the Axminster face mask?

This is the second of these face masks I have purchased in recent months. The first proved so successful it became clear that a second one was necessary whilst carrying out a particularly dusty two person task.

I did a fair amount of research before deciding to purchase this product. Have been working in wood for over fifty years, teaching Design & Technology for most of that time. I am now retired and have converted my garage into a workshop. I have a dust extraction unit that enables me to keep on top of machine created dust but it is not the perfect solution and is less than ideal where fine wood dust is concerned. I was exposed to plenty of wood dust in my early teaching career where extraction systems were not considered necessary. In later years our workshops were fitted with an industrial standard system. The difference this made was considerable and made me realise just how important and essential it is to safely control hazardous dust. Even small amounts of dust I find irritating so I wanted something that would as near as possible eliminate this problem. I have now used this product for a few hours and my initial experiences have been very good. It is easy to operate and I have found it comfortable to wear. It is easy to put on and remove. It maintains its charge for a very long time. The integral face visor is a welcome addition and visibility is excellent. I have not experienced and misting whilst the motor is running. For me the most impressive thing about this equipment is the efficient way it filters dust and enables you to breath comfortably. I have no awareness of any dust or smell from the materials I am using, mainly oak and cherry which I have been turning. I realise it is early days and it will be interesting to see how long the filters last before they need replacing and how long it will continue to perform at this high level. At the moment I am extremely impressed with the high performance of this product.

Having researched several powered respirators on line I chose the Trend model due to the high filtration down to micro mdf dust. The mask took a while to get comfortable but with patience it fitted well. The air feed is a little on the cold side but my workshop/garage is not heated. I would recommend this Trend AIR/PRO as an ideal safety device
