I have a 30" Stihl petrol chainsaw that I mainly use, but wanted something smaller for those quick jobs. As I already had the batteries for other tools, I purchased the DUC405Z and it really is a neat tool. It has all the safety features of the Stihl, and can also cut through large limbs very easily. Don't get me wrong, if you are looking to be using this constantly or professionally then go for a Petrol. If it's for convenience, then this is a great purchase.
