Excellent chainsaw, manageable and cuts really well

Overall I am pleased with the saw and its build quality. It has enough grunt for a small saw, and even using the low capacity 3.0Ah batteries that I already had it is good enough for quick jobs. It's balance and wieldability isn't quite as good as my small Stihl, but its big advantage is that I can use batteries compatable with a wide range of Makita products. Noise level is relatively low too.

It was how I expected all Mikita tools to be great

Very good tool, nicely balanced with two 18 volt batteries fitted into the body. Does exactly the same as any chain saw should but without all the fuss of trying to get the thing started. Quiet ,obviously being electric which means it can be used on the weekend without annoying the neighbours.

Good quality and very good value for money, especially when I already had 2 No. 4Ah for my Makita drill. Batteries last around 30 minutes which is sufficient for light work around the garden. Also nice for the neighbours, as it is very quiet compared to a petrol chainsaw.

Great tool for just picking it up cutting logs and putting it away again. Light weight, powerful, and a great price and service.
