Great price for the quality of this saw. Had a old corded saw but this is so much better. Used in wood and plastic pipe this far and very impressed

I was looking for a cordless saw that I could use in the garden for coppicing and pruning and this is pretty much ideal. I have a bow saw which is fine for exposed branches but this saw is really useful where the branches are difficult to access with a longer saw. It seems to be able to deal with branches of up to a couple of inches in diameter without a problem but I am not sure that it could cope with anything much thicker. Much less effort than a hand saw. I already have Makita tools and batteries so this was an obvious choice. It seems well built and solid, works fine and is robust without being too heavy. Good value at the price.

Yet another addition to my Makita range. Very handy when fencing in the field where there's no power.
