I love the easy blade installation and removal, but hate the uncertainty of when, not if, the tool and the well secured timber, using a vice and/or toothed cutting cradle is going to start dancing around the yard, pretty much like every other lower end reciprocating saw I've seen in action, regardless of higher quality blades etc., so I'm not singling out this item. However, it's finally done the one job it was purchased for, saved me around £300 in the process, plus I still have all 4 limbs, which is a miracle in itself, so it can now live in the shed untroubled for the next 4 or 5 years.

Excellent tool, using in the garden for pruning and cutting down bamboo. This one is much bigger and heavier than CXT but at least uses the same batteries and is more heavy duty.

Saw was needed to trim trees in garden, too far away for my corded saw. Does the job if I was going to use it for longer then I would probably buy larger battery ( I only have 3.0 ).

Although not really tested on anything tough what I’ve seen of it it seems a very strong useful tool to save you time and effort on awkward cuts that don’t have to be the accurate.
