Makita DHR171Z 18v LXT SDS+ Plus Cordless Brushless Rotary Hammer 17mm Body Only
Makita has created a new class in cordless with 18V LXT new compact tools. The Brushless DHR171 17mm SDS Plus Rotary Hammer is ideal for working in tight spaces and for overhead conditions.
The DHR171 has an efficient Makita Brushless Motor for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. It has 2-mode operation for “rotation only” or “hammering with rotation”, with 0-680 RPM, 0-4,800 IPM and 1.2 Joules of impact energy for fast and efficient drilling. The compact size and lower weight mean reduced fatigue for operators, especially for overhead applications.
Additional features include a vibration-absorbing handle that moves independently of the motor and hammer mechanism for increased operator comfort, as well as a variable speed trigger, built-in L.E.D. lights, and one-touch sliding chuck for easy bit changes.
Supplied body only. Batteries and chargers are sold separately.

Works efficiently. Easily guide and drill for all my household fixtures. Hammer drills are great for masonry works.

Was really suprised about how good this drill was. I’ve drilled various size holes and it’s done it all effortlessy. I did about 50 6mm holes and it only took 1 bar power from a 4ah battery.

Surprised at how good it is for what I've been using it for. I was drilling holes for 6mm rawl plugs and it has the power to do it easily, it didn't eat up the battery too quickly and the machine is incredibly light. Good value for the money.

Hi, the Makita HR171Z is tested to drill up to 17mm holes into concrete applications & should easily drill 8mm holes into brick with the correct drill bits. Please contact us directly if this problem persists.
