“A mixed review.... all the things I love about the LXT range (and I have a lot of them) remain the case for the new heat gun; flexibility, convenience, robust / great build quality, neat features (nozzle ejection), etc. My biggest concern has to be the lack of heat - which is pretty much a must have in a heat gun... even when you leave on for a while, it doesn't get anywhere near the temperature of a corded equiv. gun. I doubt it would work as a paint stripper....... As a tool for heat-shrink, it works fine..... time will tell, but it's a fairly expensive addition to my kit bag, with dubious benefit..........”
