I think I made the right decision in buying the cordless grinder. It’s helped no end in reducing trailing leads in the workshop. It’s well balanced and quiet, which is a bonus. The only gripe I have is, if I use a deep disc the spanner with the two pins will not go into the hollow. The solution would be to have a deep ring with two pins. Otherwise I use the disc lock and undo the disc by hand. It might have been good to supply a qick release hub for disc removal instead!

Typical Makita quality. The grinder works well although I haven't used the supplied grinding disk. With a diamond cutting disk fitted, it worked as expected. My advice woold be to use a 5amp battery. A 3 amp battery was soon flattened. I'd certainly recommend this angle grinder

great tool - very useful for small jobs - if you want continued use or power mains one is better, but this will do most work

Used a few times now. Good power, and battery lasts c 20 mins. No case with the grinder which is a shame, and the wrench has short pegs making changing some deeper grinding heads tricky. Overall, happy with the items.

Superb: lots of torque - does as it says ; batteries interchange with my Makita drill which is so much better than my previous one for which batteries no longer available!
