Nice tool works very well but not for continuous use as could burn out easily as my first one did. But still a very useful tool.

Can't fault this inexpensive grinder, it might be yesterday's technology with its simple brushed motor but its well built as you would expect being a makita and has enough power for smaller jobs obviously not as powerful as a corded but very convenient not having a wire trailing behind you. Last thing I'll say is the body is made from glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate which is literally bullet proof as its the same material they use in bullet proof glass so I don't think it'll break if it's dropped.

I brought this Makita grinder as a replacement for my worn out Makita grinder as I was happy with the first one, I mainly use this grinder for leadwork so grinding out mortar which this product is more than capable of doing. Having said that it is not the most powerful grinder being Makita's entry level grinder and probably their cheapest and as I purchased it in the black Friday deal it cost me only £69.00 just for the body.

Light, well-balanced, and a pleasure to use. A bit battery-hungry but that's probably to be expected. Would buy another if this one failed.
