Precautions for using the BCL715G lithium-ion battery

This battery is for use only with this version of the NR90. Use with other tools may cause the tool not to operate correctly.
Be sure to remove the battery when the tool is not in use
If the battery is attached to the nailer for 12 hours or more, the battery's output will be automatically shut off due to the built in Auto Power OFF feature for the purpose of reducing battery consumption. In this event, the tool will not operate when the trigger is pulled, but this is not a malfunction.
In the event of Auto Power OFF, to make the tool usable again, detach and reattach the battery. If the tool still doesn't operate, the battery is likely empty and will need re-charging.
The battery cannot be charged if its temperature is below 0 degrees, or higher than 50 degrees.

Bought this for a major DIY project in the garden, Ive put around 6000 nails through this in the last six months and the only trouble i had was a dodgy fuel cell. Changed the cell and it sang again. couldnt of done the job without it. Cannot compare it to other framing nailers as this is the only one ive ever used but it did exactly what it was supposed to do so why spend vast amounts more.

I give this nail gun a 4 out of 5 stars I bought mine in 2013 and I still use it today i use it constantly all day roof framing and all first fix carpentery aspects I service it myself which is pretty easy I roughly get through on average a year 4 boxes of 2 thousand nails and gases and 2 boxes of ring shanked nails It's a reliable nail gun and has alot of power its well and truly paid for itself I prefer the paslode it's slightly lighter in weight and overall feels better on built quality you pay for what you get these day so yeah......bang away ;)

Excellent nailer. I had two of these 8 or 9 years ago which are still holding on. I ordered a Paslode gun 18 months ago but it's been 'off the road' twice already so ordered another Hitachi. Service has been resumed. Excellent.

I've only fired about 500 nails through it so far, but it has performed well. The only misfire was into a knot – perhaps I was lucky, but there was no kickback, just a mangled fixing. The nails I have used are wire-welded rather than paper-wrapped and they have been fine (apparently this can be an issue with some models of Paslode). The NiCad batteries are a bit old-school, but as there are two, I have never had to stop work to wait for them to charge. The batteries are also a little stiff to change as the socket in the handle is very tight.
