Precautions for using the BCL715G lithium-ion battery

This battery is for use only with this version of the NR90. Use with other tools may cause the tool not to operate correctly

Be sure to remove the battery when the tool is not in use

If the battery is attached to the nailer for 12 hours or more, the battery's output will be automatically shut off due to the built in Auto Power OFF feature for the purpose of reducing battery consumption. In this event, the tool will not operate when the trigger is pulled, but this is not a malfunction

In the event of Auto Power OFF, to make the tool usable again, detach and reattach the battery. If the tool still doesn't operate, the battery is likely empty and will need re-charging

The battery cannot be charged if its temperature is below 0 degrees, or higher than 50 degrees

If youre a grandad putting up a fence in the middle of the summer, then this is for you! If youre a joiner and will be relying on this tool to earn your money, then buy a paslode. Ive been a joiner for 17 years, and ive never used a tool this poorly. It doesnt work outside, and i had to keep the gas in hot water for it to be effective (i got 7 nails before i swapped the gas into the old hitachi unit and gave up). I got stuck on a set of joists, and then tried to give it another go a couple of days later on a roof on a mild day- The hook moves around when its on your belt, which means the tool swings and hits everything in its wake, Its cheap and garbage!

So far I have only fired in about 100 nails through it but its worked really well so far, took me less than 5 minutes to make the frames for a set of shed doors, saving good 1/2 hour if I was using screws. Only small gripe I have is that there is a minimum amount of nails that need to be loaded in order for it to fire, so if you're down to your last few, its basically useless unless you have more to load. Other than that great piece of kit and I am happy with the way it works.

Great tool. Had a few minor issues to start with but Hitachi sorted them. Worked really well then some low life nicked it out of my van. Still have the second fix gun which is just as good. Got a Paslode now but would swap it tomorrow.
