The DeWalt DCMHT563 18v XR 55cm Cordless Hedge Trimmer is ideal for professional gardeners and landscapers, as well as DIY enthusiasts looking to keep their hedges in check. With a compact and lightweight design and a wrap-around aux handle, it provides a comfortable grip as well as reducing user fatigue. So far this hedge trimmer seems better than my previous Bosch one, as 25mm cutting size seems to be good for cutting my hedges. Very happy! “Extremely pleased with my choice after a lot of comparative trimmer research. Really impressed by the battery range, power and cutting capacity, exactly inline with other customer reviews. There is amazingly no reduction in cutting speed during a heavy cut, it just takes a bit longer. Weight is quite manageable for my 73yr old slight frame.”

“For convenience over my petrol Mitox pole hedgetrimmer and ease of use for light trimming of shrubs and hedges it is the ideal tool. It is fairly light to use and the battery lasts a reasonable time and having other DeWalt batteries available just swap as needed.”

“I'm impressed at the performance and the weight, I was not expecting it to be as good as my old 2 stroke strimmer but it's actually better and less maintenance, good battery life one a single charge and very reasonable price.”

“Excellent Tool. Quite lightweight and well balanced despite its 55cm length. Easy to use and seems to cope reasonably well with thick hedge branches as well as small pliable ones. Battery lasts a long time as one would expect from a 5Ah capacity. I bought it partly because it's battery is interchangeable with my other DeWalt power Tools which means that I don't have to wait around to charge the battery to complete a job. It was also available immediately at a good price from Powertool World.”
