Hi Barbara, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I have had a look into this and can see this is because the lamp you ordered needs an E27 fitting and this bulb has a B22, meaning the bulb was not compatible for the lamp. I can see that you have been in contact with our customer service department and they have now sent you the correct bulb free of charge. I hope this has resolved the issue for you.
