“Cant fault Pipers in any way,have not eaten the duck yet but will soon, had one of your free range chickens last night, it was great, as chicken should be.Your burgers are good, but as a 70 year old Cumbrian who has loved sausage all his life I felt your take on Cumberland sausage did not hit the spot, not coarse enough, insufficient herbs.I get mine from Doddy a butcher with Mackay’s Butchers in Penrith and their black pudding is definitely the best home made I have had.I will however be ordering more of your products in the future.”
“I ordered duck from Pipers Farm a few weeks ago. I have so far only had the duck breast and I have to say it was the best duck breast I have had so far. I immediately put the duck in the freezer. After defrosting my first piece I was reassured to find that there was no pool of liquid, you would not know it had been frozen. The flavour of the duck breast was amazing and was so tender. An additional bonus was that the breasts are so generous. For me and my partner a breast between us is just right, which makes it very good value indeed. Cannot wait to have the rest of my order, a whole duck and duck legs. I know I will not be disappointed.”
