“These are really useful for dipping in egg and breadcrumbs and serving with chips and salad. Alternatively we have 2 of them diced, added to bacon and mushrooms and we make into chicken in white sauce for a delicious mid-week meal. Get a packet of puff pastry, cut a couple of squares off and criss-cross them with a knife. Cook until golden in the oven and then put on top of the chicken mixture. Serrve with veg. These are another monthly staple we buy from Pipers.”
