“We do not like Turkey in our family so one of these was bought for Christmas Day.
Probably one of the best chickens we have ever eaten, including Poulet de Bresse.
The cooking instruction timings were perfect to retain moisture in the breast, when cooked in an oval Le Creuset with lid on except for the last 15 minutes.
Also brushed the chicken with melted butter before cooking.

“I prefer the apricot stuffed chicken, but this was very good. However, the cooking instructions were optimistic - the middle of our roast was uncooked and had to go back in. Typical roasting times are 45min/kg plus 20 minutes (so 1hr 50min for a 2kg bird) whereas this is down as 1hr 15min plus 15min, 20 min less.”
