I was a little disappointed with the chicken. I guess my expectations were high as I had read all the information on your website. However, I found the chicken to be "tight" after it had defrosted, and it took much longer than recommended to cook which did mean the meat was quite dry. Shame.

Hi Jean, I am sorry that you were disappointed but grateful you have let us know Unlike industrially grown Chickens, Our carefully grown Chickens can be eaten with minimal cooking, the meat should be just cooked and can be eaten slightly opaque as longer cooking can make the meat dry. Please do get in touch with our customer service team if we can help further? Best Wishes Pipers Farm

A friend recommended the whole chickens saying it was like “roast chicken used to be” and it really is. You can tell that this is excellent quality, not rushed, great packaging and recycling scheme. Would recommend

We order a full chicken with every delivery. I LOVE they come with giblets. The liver goes into my cat food and I make goblet gravy with the rest. Best chicken I’ve ever had.
