“I bought my dog a lambs heart awhile ago and boiled it and curiosity got the better of me. So I gave it a nibble and was surprised at how lambs distinctive flavour came through rather than an 'offal' taste. Now I am doing a fasting combined with high protein/low carb diet when I do eat my protein I want it to be the best source i.e grass fed etc. This cut of meat seemed very good value for the size. I didnt realise you could thaw in water so took hours left on the side to defrost. Once thawed I got a pan nice and hot and seared pieces off. Let them sit and then had them on a sandwich! DEFINITELY going to try and make a stew next”
