“Very central to town and parks. Room was ok , could do with a little updating. Did have to pay £12 per day to park which seemed a little excessive, as being disabled I was not guaranteed a disabled parking space.”

“We had a nice 2 night stay at The Old Swan in Harrogate, staff were very welcoming on arrival and a really lovely hotel with some history to it, the room was basic but clean and comfortable it was nice to see a few other dogs there too who were very welcome but not a dog bowl in sight which is unusual. We were booked in for breakfast which was very nice although as we had Gus with us understandably we had to have breakfast in the bar area, most of the tables in this area are low which is not very comfortable but there were 3 normal dining tables set out which we lucky enough to be able to sit at. On our second morning there was some kind of event being set up around us as we were eating together with a member of the domestic team hoovering next to where we were seated and a television on very loudly,we did feel that we were in the way. By the time we left the hotel it had become very busy and the staff were obviously under pressure, however it was disappointing to hand in the key and not receive a "thankyou and how was your stay" All being said we would stay at this hotel again as it is very central to Harrogate with good parking at £12 per day if you were not lucky enough to find a space right outside the hotel free of charge and an overall pleasant experience.”

“This hotel is very old worldy which we loved. To be honest it is a little tired looking in the bedroom's but very clean and the food was second to none. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again. They were so accommodating with our jack Russell. If you have a four legged friend and no dog sitter this is the place for you.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Old Swan Hotel. The staff were lovely , polite and helpful, especially Aiden. The room was clean . Our only grumble was that the food was quite cold especially the lamb for dinner and the breakfast. Otherwise, an enjoyable visit.”

“Room big and clean but very very worn. Second floor way at the opposite end it was a long trek - not really suitable for letting a dog out quickly for a pee. The staff were excellent. Neither of us ate the breakfast. The scrambled eggs were mushy and tasteless. The mushrooms were bland and very watery. The bread was cheap. Good location. Overall it isn’t somewhere I would stay again. But it was ok thanks. We went out for breakfast in the end.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I have put in a complaint to the Hotel and to PetPyjamas. Not my usual thing to do, but it was my husbands birthday and it wasn't great.
