Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? Yes

Did you feel your stay was good value for money? No

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Food was restaurant prices for pub food. Overall the stay was enjoyable but we were disappointed as we had booked through Pets Pyjamas there was no dog bed and we had to ask for dog bowls and the dog breakfast each time. It wasn't offered. Also had to ask for tea and coffee and milk fir the room. It was not replenished by the room cleaning staff. The food quality of breakfast on the second day was much lower than the Tuesday, presumably a change of chef.

“Pub was well situated and the separate lodges were cosy. Plenty of room for the dog to run in the partially enclosed rear garden. The pub was beautifully appointed and the ambience was relaxing and welcoming. The staff were attentive and the there was a good choice of food and drink. Stanley enjoyed his doggy sausage each breakfast time. Service was a bit slow both evenings and mornings and probably due to insufficient staff.”

“The staff make this place, they are visible, helpful and friendly. Room was really comfortable, had everything we needed and the outdoor space for the dog was great. Food and wine were delicious”

“We had a lovely time at The White Horse. The room was clean and comfortable. Our dog was very welcome, getting treats and there was even a dog bed under our dining table which she made good use of! All the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! Would highly recommend.”

“I was looking forward to using the hot tub but was informed on arrival that they had been removed some weeks prior. Pets in Pyjamas should update their website.”

“Staff, food location and rooms were all incredible. The facilities for dogs are amazing and the staff made them feel so welcome, in the bar, restaurant and rooms. The dogs particularly loved the sausages for breakfast”

Located just to the South of the stunning walks and vistas along the South Downs, and just 12 miles north of the AONB Chichester natural harbour. This is the perfect place to explore the area. Drive to Ichenor harbour for a walk along the path to the so

“Many thanks for the lovely hospitality extended to myself, my husband and two dogs. We wish we had stayed longer, but I was down there for work and only had chance to explore on a Sunday afternoon.”
