“We recently spent three nights at Armathwaite Hall & Spa and I have to say we had a lovely time (so did our dog too). The hotel was lovely, our room was great and all the staff were extremely helpful. The room was perfect if you take your pet on holiday with you, as there were treats and a doggie bed already in the room. We would definitely recommed the hotel and we will be going back there very soon.”

“Beautiful Stately home with amazing view over the lake. Very good reasonably priced spa. Great walks for the dogs and there were lovely beds and biscuits for them on arrival. The food was expensive and was not great. Unfortunately the better restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday and we were unaware of this.”

“An excellent stay from start to finish. Our black Labrador baby Hugo was spoiled by all the lovely staff. He had his own bed and bowl, as well as a bag of treats to welcome him on our arrival. He was able to dine with us in a beautiful conservatory with picturesque views of the lake. And had sausages for breakfast every morning! There were extensive grounds with gravelled-path walks, much of it illuminated for that last evening walk before bedtime. Hugo was so sincerely welcome at the hotel that it made our break to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday even more relaxing and special. We stayed in one of the spacious garden room suites, which we would highly recommend for your fur baby to have space and access to a secure outside area. If you are looking for a truly dog-friendly luxury hotel set in stunning surroundings, look no further!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? When we booked the dining package we didn’t realise there would be a £40 per person cap. When the main dishes in the Lake View are £39 min £28 you have to top up. On Mondays the Brasserie isn’t open so there is no choice.

“Very friendly staff, the dog friendly garden suite was generous and comfortable. The spa facilities were great and very welcome after a long day exploring. We had a wonderful five days and will definitely be booking again.”

“A super Hotel - Staff, Food, Accomodation, Spa were first class and the set up is very accomodating for our Dogs. The new suites near the Spa are perfect for Dog vacations with extra room. We will definitely go back.”

“The staff and facilities were excellent... we had a very restful time and there are excellent walks through the countryside. However the treats for the dogs and a saugage breakfast every morning set the boys up for the day”
