“Arrived on first day of opening and location fantastic with beautiful grounds down to lake for dogs to run around and short walk to beach and bluebird cafe. Lovely pubs in walking distance and hotel bar and restaurant very welcoming. Food excellent and staff very helpful. Had a fabulous time”

“Fantastic quiet location with excellent facilities, especially dog owners. Less than half a mile to the village of Coniston, which has pubs, cafe’s and a museum and is lovely. Bus stop right outside which we used to get to Bowness. We also used the boat trip from nearby to the hotel around coniston water. Restaurant was good and staff very friendly and helpful. Felt very COVID safe with good procedures in place. Plenty of outside space to have a drink and our dog loved the stay. We will return for sure.”
