“We were given a garden room which was great for letting the dog out for toilet. The room was really lovely although a bit warm even though the radiator was not on. We ate in the bar and the food was delicious. Liked it so much we have booked to stay again.”

“A very enjoyable weekend break . Staff very friendly . Room excellent and bed super comfortable . Property as a whole a good mix of old and querky with modern amenities tastefully done . Food very good . I would say that we only saw one other dog over weekend . Most staff ignored dog . No extras for dog although did get a sausage from a waitress on Saturday morning who loved dogs . Offered it again on Sunday twice but it did not materialise . Not a problem as we always travel with everything dog needs but not the most dog friendly of places we have stayed in but certainly not anti dogs in any way . We had such a good time that we would like to go back and overall for our stay would still give it 5 out of 5”

“We booked teh Bell Inn through PetsPyjamas and received a package offer. The room was ground floor and looked on to a grassed seating area so easy for the dogs. We did not take the dogs in for meals although we could and chose to leave them in the car for this but the car park was secure. Our evening meal and breakfasts were delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Can only recommend a stay here!”

“We enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Bell Inn. The staff were welcoming & friendly. We stayed in the annex overlooking the garden, ideal for our dog. Our accomadation was very clean with good facilities. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice. Our evening meals were delicious. Would happily stay again.”

“From the start to end of our stay we were well accommodated, our needs with our nervous dog were met without issues and ease and made us feel very welcome. The food we had at the bistro was delicious and served quickly and the breakfast in the morning was superb. We would highly recommend this hotel to others and will be returning soon!”

“Our trip to the Bell Inn Hotel at Stilton was amazing,we stayed two nights in a wonderful ground floor chalet which was spotlessely clean and had everything we needed a wonderfully comfortable bed . The staff were amazing,nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile on their face. The food was truly amazing and served to the table by efficient staff. Our dog Fergus loved it and was totally spoilt by everyone,in fact he did not want to come home. Would recommend this place to anyone and I can assure you we will be returning”
