We thoroughly enjoyed our PetPyjamas exclusive break at The Bell in Stilton. This updated old coachhouse is stylishly decorated with good quality furnishings. We were housed in the Forge, an extension of the main hotel leading directly onto a pleasant garden, which was ideal for our dog, Mungo. All the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, not only to us but also to Mungo. Warm scones in our arrival cream tea were delicious, dinner was superlative and breakfast full of choice. This PetsPyjamas package was also extremely good value for money.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Needs a small fold up table in the dog cottages
We came as a couple with 1dog and can't praise this accomodation enough. Food was fantastic choices and the dog had complimentory cooked sausage for her breakfast. Staff were so friendly and welcoming Hotel is old but very clean. 100% recommend from us..

The garden rooms are lovely and nicely decorated, they have direct access to the garden so you can let your dogs out easily for comfort breaks. You can dine with your dog and you don’t feel left out or unwanted. The staff at breakfast were particularly lovely and the dogs got a morning sausage and fuss. Location wise there is nothing directly near by so be prepared to drive out for the day. We googled dog friendly things to do and visited Cambridge which is about 40 minutes away. We made use of the park and ride as parking in Cambridge is £30 a day. We took a punting trip and dogs are welcome, check your punting prices before as they do try to rip you off. £20 pp is a reasonable price to pay and dogs go free. Be aware of the crazy cyclists in Cambridge they do not stop and happy to cycle into you and your dog! Ely cathedral was also good to visit, dogs are allowed in. Ely itself is not so dog friendly as most cafés won’t allow dogs in unless you sit outside, outside options were limited. Starbucks however allows dogs and serves puppucino’s for them. We ate at The Bell Inn both nights, food was great, with a lot to choose from. Breakfast was also excellent with a good choice of options. The pub itself was lovely and cosy, good for a little break and rest. Overall great value for money on the barking Britain package.

Our room was lovely and backing on to the garden was really helpful as we could just open our door and let Tanga out for a run around without any worries. The staff were absolutely delightful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the food was very good indeed and there was also a really good circular walk through farmland and back through the village. Tanga would definitely give The Bell 5 stars and the only reason we can't is because our bathroom was a little tired. Not dirty or anything like that but it could just do with freshening up a bit. We had a lovely couple of days.

We stayed here for two nights with our little Yorkie. We were using it as a base to visit Cambridge and Stamford. We had one of three rooms which opened out directly onto a large lawn, so perfect for the pooch. The room was a good size, well equipped (even a Nespresso machine). The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The staff were all very helpful

Just returned from our 2 night Barking Britain package. We stayed in the Forge room, large and spacious and opening out onto a grassy area - ideal for late-night walkies. The room is beautifully presented and was scrupulously clean, lovely and warm too! The marvelous English breakfasts set us up for the day and evening meals were delicious. My gluten free requirements were helpfully met and our girl was treated like royalty! We will be back!

A superb hotel that I would throughly recommend. We had a garden room which opened on to the sizeable beer garden which was perfect for our dog. Cosy bar area with a good selection of drinks available. Balcony Restaurant (which was only open a weekends) and a bistro are the eating places and although the food was good, the menu was rather limited. Stayed six days which on hindsight was probably too long as there is nothing to see or do in Stilton. There are some wonderful parks within a short drive, the best being Ferry Meadows.
