“Everything was 9 out of 10. The first port of call is reception and we were greeted by a wonderful lady and supplied with fresh milk. Our room was classic, a good size for us with a market square view, comfy classic and extremely clean. The only downside is the noisy pub leavers at closing times but this is not the feathers fault... We would like to recommend the restaurant food to everyone because it was more than exceptional. We recommend the prawns and bourginion pie and the chef needs a medal for his gravy, the best gravy we have ever tasted. Thank you chef. The final mention goes to the waiting staff. You were very busy and also deserve recognition for your hard work, we received our food very quickly each and every time with exceptional service. The only slight issue was my husbands beer was left at the bar twice. Thank you we will return.”

“Our stay was fantastic, great room for us and our Dalmatians, we stayed four nights. We were all made very welcome by fantastic staff. Payment for everything was card only and we would have preferred to pay cash for drinks and snacks at the bar. However, we will return as the staff were friendly and it was such a dog friendly hotel. Everywhere was clean and our room was beautiful.”
