Had a great three days at the Feathers booked through PetsPyjamas. Had a lovely time with our two dogs. Deal included bed and breakfast and dinner for 1 night which was excellent value. We hope to do this again in the near future and is highly recommended

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Helmsley is a great location, for exploring Whitby, Robin hood's bay, Scarborough Thirsk and many more. Helmsley alone offers a lot to see and do for a short break.
A warm and friendly welcome on arrival, fantastic room, beautiful clean and modern. Staff very accommodating throughout our stay, always had a friendly pat for my dog and an endless supply of treats. Would highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at The Feathers Hotel, everything was perfect. Beautiful and spotlessly clean accommodation, excellent food and the staff are great, they made you feel so welcome. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Location wise, it's only 30 minutes drive from the coast and only 20 minutes drive from The North Yorkshire Moors Railway, and Hemsley itself is a quaint little village with nice shops and places to eat.

We spent 3 nights at Feathers and received a warm welcome. The Feathers is definitely a dog friendly hotel. The room was very comfortable and had everything to make it a pleasant stay. The Feathers is a great base for exploring the surrounding district. The breakfasts were good as was the one evening meal we had. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within a 100 metres as well, the Italian restaurant across the square was excellent. Overall a great stay

The staff were very friendly from check in to the waiting staff. They all made a fuss of our dog. The food was amazing & the room very comfortable. We will definitely be returning in the future. It was really nice to be able to have our dog join us for our meals too. All the shops & cafes locally all allowed our dog with us, so no need to leave him outside anywhere.

This place had everything we wanted. The hotel was beautiful, really great staff who were great with our dog, they even carry doggy treats in their aprons! Barbara on the front desk was lovely and even though we had forgotten to book our meals that came in the package she squeezed us in with no trouble. The room was perfect with plenty of space, we were greeting with a wonderful doggy package with a bowl, treats and poo bags. Bed was lovely and comfy and tv had Netflix which was a nice touch. There are plenty of walks nearby we went to the castle just a short walk across the square, and there is a National park about a 2 minute walk away. The whole village is really dog friendly all the shops and restaurants, cafes let them in. But the best thing of all was the hotel food, WOW! Just amazing, simply the best food in a hotel we have eaten. You will not be disappointed.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I only think the stay was good value as we got a 3 for 2 deal
Firstly the staff, without exception where lovely .Nothing was too much trouble However the room we were given was awful. It was very small and cluttered and although the bed was clean and comfortable the rest of the room was grubby. The tiny shower room was nicely stocked with toiletries but there was a round toilet seat on a square toilet !!!!!. Would be unlikely to stay again of this was the standard of the rooms .
