My wife & I (and our 2 dogs) had a 1 night stay at this fantastic hotel. Our room was very spacious with a massive bed (think it was 2 singles pushed together but I'm not splitting hairs). The bathroom was massive too, with a large bath, & large shower cubicle - really great! While waiting of our room to be ready as we were a bit early we sat in the bar area where there are lots of easy chairs to relax. One member of staff brought a dog bowl of water for our dogs which was very thoughtful. After checking in we took our dogs for exercise in the spacious grassed & landscsped grounds before going to the room to sort our dogs sleeping arrangements out. At breakfast we were well looked after by our server & our dogs were brought cooked sausages - again very thoughtful. All in all a lovely stay was had & the staff were all really nice. We would recommend this location & will return in the future for sure.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Only criticism was paying extra if you wanted a full English breakfast when we had booked breakfast rates
Excellent time at the hotel which was great very clean great friendly atmosphere and staff and food was excellent

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Lovely dog welcome station and hanger for the door when you leave your pooch alone in the room.
What a find. A lovely hotel for our pre Christmas break. The hotel was amazing and the staff so welcoming and helpful. So dog friendly and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I woudl strongly recommend this place to anyone looking in this area. The location is great. Bella loved it. Just a shame I didn't manage to get to the spa. I am sure I will be back.

A lovely stay. Just one night but with it had been longer. Super room. Great food. Excellent staff. Really dog friendly.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? All round great service from the hotel , great hotel and staff were excellent, honestly one of the best short breaks we've had.
Myself and my wife with our dog Rocky enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay at rowton Hall. The staff were fantastic, so friendly, the standard of the food was excellent, the grounds were ideal for walking our dog, the local pub the Cheshire Cat was also nice as was a walk down the canal to Chester. Newspaper delivered to the door each morning was nice to be able to order, and we will be definitely going back when we can.

We were really happy with our stay at Rowton Hotel . Our dog was very happy with the selection of dog biscuits and he was made to feel very welcome. The grounds are beautiful and there’s a lovely walk along the canal to the Cheshire Cat pub.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We did not stay which adds even further insult to send this email asking me to review a hotel which we were not offered.
Extremely disappointed with Petspyjamas who charged for this trip to Rowton Hall and then informed us that the room had already been booked. Why would you take payment if a room has already been booked? Extremely unprofessional and very difficult to contact to sort out the problem.

Hello John, I am sorry to hear that you did not have a smooth booking process with us here at PetsPyjamas. I have had a look into this for you and it would appear my colleague Mel dealt with your enquiry. The room was available and quoted to you at 9:21 via our quote builder and Mel did explain this is the last dog-friendly room. The payment was not made for another hour at 10:25. Mel immediately called the hotel to book the room but the room had since been booked since quoting and payment being made. Mel 'rejected' your payment straight away and an email comms was sent which explained 'your booking has not been completed and payment has been returned straight back to your account'. Mel proceeded to then text you to let you know that unfortunately the room had since been booked and sent alternative hotel options based on your original enquiry to see if one of the alternative options was suitable. Mel also spoke to a friend on the phone who you were travelling with and explained the situation again, apologised but rest assured that the payment has been rejected and we have physically not taken the money, it will remain a 'pending' payment in his account and will come back to his account as I have rejected the payment.
