“Hotel staff lovely hotel very clean couldn’t do enough for you but the room was in the eaves of the building unbearably hot to be in and couldn’t sleep had 2 fans in room did tell the hotel staff they said make sure you don’t stay in them rooms if you come again”

“Just got home from a short stay at the collingwood hotel . On arrival there was a mix up with our room but was quickly rectified. Our dog was given some treats and a ball and was welcomed by all staff . He was even offered a sausage at breakfast. I would definitely stay again”

“Super clean, friendly staff and great location for beach, parks and town. Food was delicious. Dogs made very welcome. Would have been useful to know about the parking charge before I checked in. Single room and bathroom were immaculate, beautifully decorated, it was very small and stuffy though.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Great dog friendly hotel, would highly recommend food & cocktails.

“Hotel was very welcoming to us and our puppy. Rooms are “cosy”, but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Car park is at the back of the hotel. Food was very good, they have a new chef with plenty of choice my sister is coeliac but the hotel were very accommodating. We ate in the bubble lounge as we had the puppy, he was complete spoilt by staff & other guests. This is a great base for heading out onto the beaches everyday. Please be aware not all of the beach’s are dog friendly March-Sept, however there are long stretches that are and all are clearly sign posted. We had a fab stay and will definitely return.”

“Very friendly welcome especially for our Cockerpoo who got so much attention she lapped it up. Cosy room but adequate for our needs. We had the meals and stay package and the food and service were very good, can't go in the main restaurant so ate in the bar area. Beach and park were literally on the doorstep.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The only negative, is that we there were no dog poo bins anywhere near or around the hotel

“Pleasant stay, really lovely food and extremely friendly staff (reception, cleaners, bar and restaurant) Very clean, comfortable beds, great location, very near the beach.”

“Set on a busy road this hotel has nice staff but room was tired. Had booked for bed and breakfast - never ate dinner there as food was very poor. The immediate area also had lots of odd people hanging around at night.”
