Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Great concept, but needs more tweaking to be called a real dogs valued and welcomed hotel, great start.

“Near the beach, but have to cross a busy main road. No special doggy facilities, but allowed in the lounge with lots of other doggies, so very sociable, can eat with dogs in lounge too.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Room tired and grubby. Woken at 5.20am by loud humming noise on 3rd night”

“Attentive polite staff couldn’t do enough for us - outstanding level of care for my coeliac and allergy needs - I have recommended you on a number of food allergy sites lovely room - we will definitely stay again what an awesome find thank you so much”

“A Dog and people friendly place , staff were attentive, the food was great, we were pleasantly impressed all round note , Room was warm even with heating off”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Hotel was value for money but the extra £12 charged for the car park was an unexpected extra

“No welcome on arrival just ‘you need to pay £12 for parking’. Noisy road but unable to close the windows as room hot with no thermostat. Blocked sink reported but not resolved before departure. Room was clean and pleasantly decorated. Food for dinner and breakfast in the bar was fantastic but hurried due to large party being catered for in the Dining Room. Perfect location for the beach. The goodie bag for the dogs was a lovely touch.”

“Located near the beach and west cliff of Bournemouth town centre we had a great short break / stay at this hotel. Accommodation was in good condition / decoration,, staff were attentive and very helpful; food choice, quantity and quality was excellent. Our dog Skye enjoyed her sausages for breakfast. Only niggle was being asked to pay £12.50 / night parking fee as had booked with Pets Pyjamas which would not have been payable if we had booked with hotel direct. Not a major issue, but it would have been nice to know in advance.”

“We had a lovely stay at the beginning of September at the Collingwood and will definitiley, be returning. The hotel is very dog friendly and the staff make all dogs and their owners welcome. We stayed on a half-board basis for a week and all meals were lovely, with a good choice and good-sized portions. The room although on the small side, and known as a cosy room (which are the only rooms dogs are permitted to stay in) was decorated well and had all amenities, you would expect.”

“Hotel staff lovely hotel very clean couldn’t do enough for you but the room was in the eaves of the building unbearably hot to be in and couldn’t sleep had 2 fans in room did tell the hotel staff they said make sure you don’t stay in them rooms if you come again”
