Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Let down by Pets Pyjamas who apparently did not pass on our requirement for room with shower. So, first night was in room with shower over bath - no good. Receptionist claimed requirement was not on the booking from Pets Pyjamas
Excellent facilities for us and dog. Marvellous countryside and fabulous meals

Everything about Soar Mill Cove Hotel and Spa is outstanding! The location, beauty and tranquillity are something we would rather not share, it was our piece of heaven! The staff were all delightful, always smiling and more than happy to help or stop for a little chat. The food was very good, although slightly limited for a non-fish eater like me (apologies!) It was lovely to be able to take our dog with us and dog-free areas were subtly pointed out without any uncomfortable segregation which made for a relaxing break. Never have we been in an hotel where so many of the guests interact with each other - dog owners and non-dog owners alike! It was like being with friends.

The hotel was lovely, the room beautiful. Very clean , and staff well organised and very friendly. We took our very large dog but this did not prove a problem, except she needed walking. We are both rather advanced in years and the terrain around the hotel was quite steep but my husband managed it. I relied on car trips out of the hotel which involved careful navigation of very narrow lanes leading to and from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? There are so many dogs it seems silly having separate dining sections in the restaurant.
I was considering not writing a review so we could keep it a secret! This hotel is a superb bolt hole for anyone looking to enjoy some Devonshire fresh air. The rooms are clean and comfy and the food is great. We found the staff friendly and helpful and our puppy had a great time!

A warm welcome from Jonathan upon arrival made for a fab start and we were more than happy with our extended family garden room. It was spacious and easy for Paddy the dog to head out for a potter in the garden just off the patio. Mealtimes were a treat! Particularly enjoyed the crab sandwiches on offer for lunch and the lamb and salmon dishes at dinner. Breakfast highlights included the creamy porridge and haddock with poached eggs. Cocktail 2 for 1 hour was superb too. Clive took time to explain the martini’s on offer, so we learnt a bit too. Particularly enjoyed the company of Jonathan who was an absolute gem and hilarious . Matt was super kind and hospitable too and the staff as a whole was very hard working and up for a chat. Beautiful, beautiful location and full on dog friendly too. Children loved the beach, walking around the cove and of course the pool. Honestly one of our best hols in the UK and thank you for looking after us so well.

This lovely hotel really welcomed our two labradors and made it a very relaxing break away. The beach was only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the views were fabulous. Highly recommend.

Lovely room, great service . Restaurant was very good especially breakfast. An enclosed outdoor space for your dog on the back of the rooms would help for those necessary toilet breaks pets need . Difficult if you have dogs that like to explore and you want the door open at all.
