“We really enjoyed our stay at the Soar Mill Cove Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. This truly is a dog-friendly hotel. We dined every morning and night with our dog. The food was exceptional. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for your next dog holiday.”

“This hotel is genuinely dog welcoming. Food is delicious, dog bowls and mat supplied in the room and a fridge was much appreciated as our dog is raw fed - perfect. A beautiful sandy, rocky cove to explore too.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The approach road was particularly narrow and an on site warning about ignoring the Sat nav would have been helpful. It was well worth the effort of getting there.

“A very comfortable hotel with superb service. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. Our spacious room had comfortable chairs with wonderful views. The bed was noticeably two singles put which aff3cted its comfort. Apart from that all was lovely.”

“Lovely hotel. Human friendly as well as dog friendly! Spa and pool very welcome. The setting is gorgeous and the cove just wonderful. Excellent for dogs as it’s big enough to run free but at the same time safe and confined. Hoping to return!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? All the staff were wonderful and we enjoyed the banter. We ate there every night and found the food good with an excellent wine list.

“This was probably the best hotel we have stayed in with our cocker spaniel (Archie). The location for an active water loving dog is excellent. Many walks are up and down, which we expected, so it helps if people are active as well.”

“Fabulous location in a picturesque valley leading down to a tiny cove. The hotel was comfortable and staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant was disappointing- food was expensive and not very exciting, breakfast was good though.”

“We stayed two nights, three days .. a beautiful, peaceful setting. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was great to be able to dine with Monty, he even got a sausage in our last morning for breakfast! Amazing views from the coastal paths; the Cove was sandy and great fun (great for ball throwing and wave jumping!) No mobile signal which was great! Just one thing, it would have been helpful to have a good/water bowl in the room. Thank you for a lovely short break.”
