Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would highly recommend to anyone with a dog who is looking for a relaxing break.

“We arrived to a very friendly welcome and were told we had received a free complementary upgrade to our room! We stayed in the French Bulldog room and there was a seating area, large comfy bed and beautiful en-suite. There was a free bottle of doggy beer and dog biscuit which our Dachshund loved! Free tea and coffee with fresh milk and Tunnocks tea cakes! We were able to bring our dog to sit with us at breakfast and dinner, as well as in the bar area and all staff were incredibly friendly. The food and drink was incredible and there is a 5k walk which starts at the pub and has wonderful views. All in all, a fantastic break away!”

“We all enjoyed our nights stay here & evening meal in the bar area .. the human food was of an amazing quality. Berts & Orchid our 2 Minature schnauzer enjoy their stay , the staff were amazing with Orchid who is a rescue & at times reactive , they found us a nice quiet table & she happily sat on the bench sitting with us while we ate . We will definitely be back for another visit ..”

“We had an absolutely fabulous time staying at the Jack Russell. What a stunning location, food was absolutely gorgeous as was our room. Couldn’t fault it. Also they are certainly dog friendly and made such a fuss of all the dogs that were there and provided dog bowl and dog biscuit in the room which was a nice touch. Would definitely revisit.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Jack Russell Inn so much we came home & immediately booked to go back next year! Brilliant service from friendly professional staff, lovely rooms which are clean, modern & in immaculate condition and it’s so dog friendly. It was so lovely knowing our dog was welcome wherever we went, even to meals! Lots of little extra touches too such as a dog treats & a doggie guest book! Nice local walks too, we are looking forward to going back! Highly recommended!”

“Really beautiful ground and hotel, the room was great! Super accommodating for our 2 dogs and very comfortable to have them off lead. Food was great! and the fire pit in the evening was a lovely touch to end the night!”

“The Jack Russell is an absolutely beautiful Hotel in a stunning setting. We opted for room with a view and had an amazing view and outdoor balcony space. The room was spacious and came with a dog bed and bowl. The staff were very welcoming to bout Pepper & Us. The outdoor fire pit and cosy setting was a highlight and enjoyed as Pepper could roam free in the gated court yard late at night while we had drinks. Pepper was welcome everywhere in the hotel and we would definitely be revisiting!”
