“We stayed for a 2 night break, on the Puddles Pet Package, in June 2021. Our cockapoo Penny was so well looked after at every opportunity at this gorgeous hotel! We had a lower ground floor room so Penny could pop out and have a wander very easily. The hotel provided a fantastic raised bed, with lovely food and water bowls and some food for her! She came with us to every meal, and was even served her own doggie dinner (chicken and green beans) and doggie breakfast (scrambled egg and sausage) each time we dined. The food at the hotel was amazing - fantastic flavours and just the right portion size. We honestly could not recommend this place enough!”

“Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately the room we were allocated wasn't suitable for our ages. Late 70s. The grass outside our room was on a slope. Problem taking the dog out during the night plus no outside light. I was frightened of falling over. The bath was so high couldnt use the shower.”

Thought the evening meal from Mint was fairly average/bland for the price (breaky & afternoon tea lovely) and we also didn't like the fact we had to ask staff to serve our buffet breakfast rather than serve ourselves due to COVID. “Lovely hotel with a really personalised experience. Amazing views, nice bar/restaurant areas, everyone made our dog Loki so welcome and made it such a pleasure to have him with us. He had a bed, towel, treats, filled water bowl in our room, they offered him breakfast & dinner with us whilst we ate and even put a bed by our table when we booked for afternoon tea! Beautiful walks nearby and a short walk in to Tewkesbury. Staff were all absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub each morning, but a shame the sauna and steam not available (may be due to COVID, but I know they are open elsewhere). The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. Overall really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing & we look forward to returning and would highly recommend!”
