We had a lovely time at Tewkesbury Park. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, Evie loved her complimentary dog treats and the room was comfy for us all. Food and drinks were good quality. We had a wonderful massage with Abby and the Health Club was clean and staff very helpful.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Tewkesbury Park Hotel. The puddles pet package we had was amazing. The food included was superb quality with a lovely afternoon tea too. Our dog Olive was well catered for and enjoyed all of the doggy dinners and extra food left in the room. It’s a great base to explore The Cotswolds and we will be going back.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? A very comfortable hotel. I simply cannot fault it. Would definitely go back. I highly recommend Tewkesbury Park.
We’ve had an very enjoyable stay, beautiful decor, good standard of food, very helpful staff, THE best massage ever, well presented spa with sauna etc. Well equipped gym. Breathtaking views. Lots of space. Our dogs loved it, access to grass area direct from double doors in the room. So convenient. Slow service in the Piano Bar where we dined with our dogs but we were fine with this as our focus was on total relaxation.

Although a separate dining room for dog owners with their dogs, not enough tables to cater. We had to eat our evening meal from a coffee table and armchair which were at nose level of our beloved pooch! We invited another couple to sit with us as otherwise they would not have had anywhere to sit for their meal! Daisy the dog was not given breakfast on the first morning (we did share ours with her).

They are struggling with a lack of waiting staff I assume because of Covid. Service was very slow and they dont check to see you need anything else. My dog was not offered dinner either night and there was not a dog bed in our room, we had taken our own dog bed so it didnt matter. They seem a bit disfunctional at present.

Dear Ruth, We are sorry that your trip did not go to plan at all, and you had an overall disappointing experience at the Tewkesbury Park Hotel, Gloucestershire. We pride ourselves not only on our wonderful Pet Concierge Team, but also the fantastic properties we work with so we are let down to know we failed you on this occasion. Rest assured we have passed your comments onto our properties manager and will continue to work closely with the accommodation to ensure this does not happen again. Lauren

We came away for a quick 2 night break with our Tibetan Terrier, Harry He was immediately welcomed and once at our room (had to change room as despite advising we needed a room on ground floor suitable for mobility scooter our first room choice was down 2 flights of stairs. This was quickly remedied and we had a great room with little patio overlooking part of golf course and amazing views beyond. Harry had a wooden frame bed with tempur mattresss and water bowl with welcome pack of treats, at breakfast he had choice of bacon/sausage and scrambled egg and at dinner in first evening he enjoyed chicken and vegetables! We arrived to a champagne afternoon which was a perfect start, after breakfast on the first morning I enjoyed a bespoke facial which took advantage of a £25 spa voucher. Sadly didn’t use the pool which I was looking forward to due a problem with the temperature and it was running cold. Would definitely return, hopefully with same spa voucher and a warmer pool. Great food, setting. Location Worth a visit Mr & Mrs Lack

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone with dogs looking for a relaxed stay where the dogs were treated as part of the family.
We were a party of 4 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs. The accommodation was perfect for our mixed age range with plenty of outside space for the dogs. The facilities and the food were excellent and the golf course an added bonus for our two golfing men!

We checked in on one of the hottest days of the year. Alas my husband doesn’t do hot very well, so as there was no air conditioning anywhere in the nice hotel, I mean anywhere, not even in the public areas, so it was overbearingly hot and uncomfortable for us. So alas my husband insisted on leaving! So I can’t comment on room, food etc as we arrived, had a drink took the dog for a walk and then got straight back in the car!
