“Really enjoyed our short stay with our dog. Lovely contemporary room, very suitable for our dog, easy access to the gardens and plenty of space. Personally the bed was a bit hard for me, so a mattress topper would be a handy option...Lovely helpful staff, comfortable bar area for a pre dinner cocktail. You can eat in the bar with your dog and have the option of the restuarant menu, and a vegetarian menu which was a big plus for me. A short drive to Thetford forest for long mud free walks! We will definitely be back.”

“This was a really lovely place to stay and perfect with dogs as the walks around the grounds were very good and easily accessible. Food in the restaurant and bar was excellent and breakfasts were brilliant too. Didn't need anything else to eat all day! A truly peaceful haven and I will definitely book again in the future. I had Mill Stream 2 lodge and it was lovely. If I am being picky, a more comfortable chair in the room would be good for days when I wanted to stay in and also more dog pooh bins available, not just one! But I am nitpicking. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming and charming. Overall and lovely stay.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Perhaps a separate bar area so as not to disturb diners when you have your dogs with you

“I was torn between giving this place the amazing review it deserves and wanting to keep it to myself! A truly dog friendly hotel. Such wonderful touches for Christmas, including presents for us and our dogs, amazing food. Dining options with and without the dogs and truly incredible food. Outstanding. And such lovely staff.”

“This hotel is very dog friendly with rooms having access to grass for run around sand morning pees! With a dog you eat downstairs in the bar area, and I must make a special mention to the food. Breakfasts are second to none. Really lovely quality. Our room wasn’t huge but large enough to accommodate a huge dog bed and our retriever too! The beds are very comfortable.”

“The room we stayed in (Water Meadow) was spotless and had the most amazing view. We visited with our three dogs and the room is absolutely perfect for your four-legged friends as it has bi-fold doors which open straight onto the meadow. We ate in the Tipi both nights. This is a fantastic dining experience and the food is fabulous. Breakfast was delicious too. Booking via Pets Pyjamas is a must as the dogs go free - had we booked via another site it would have cost us £150 extra to take three dogs for two nights. Highly recommended”

“Lovely setting and grounds. If want to walk further afield do need to walk along a fairly narrow path, along a busy road. Rooms perfect - large and beautiful folding doors to outside. Dogs were mesmerized. White sheets on bed - maybe not such a good idea. Bathroom smelt damp/of drains.”

“This is a unique hotel and a lot of thought has gone into the style and facilities. The rooms were lovely and the size of the bathroom in the mill stream room was gobsmacking. Copious amounts of water. The wall of glass panels to the grounds is lovely and I can only imagine how wonderful this would be in Summertime. Just a couple of points - there needs to be earlier breakfast times offered as I had to leave at 8.30 and the eartlier breakfast offered was 8am. I opted for room service but it arrived late and reception was engaged. Also there are no facilities to eat your breakfast in the bedroom - thee needs to be a table and chairs and there is room for these. Service was rather slow, however the saff are very pleasant. I am back again in March and look forward to it!”

“Great choice for a dog friendly break. Helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms and good food (the food in the main on our final night restaurant was fantastic).”
