Thanks for your feedback. The car park you parked in control their parking by ANPR so if you had gone over the time, they automatically charge you. If you press the help button and speak to the attendant, they often help out in these situations. We will be in touch separately to see if we can help with your delayed flight.
“Parking was easy and only a short walk to the terminal but upon my return I drove to the barriers to exit and they wouldn’t lift, so I pressed the assist button as it was showing I owed £50.00 (I’d paid before entering the carpark online and still had 40 mins left before that expired) I was eventually let out the carpark by the person at the end of the line but it was an unnecessary inconvenience that didn’t need to happen!”
Thanks for your feedback. As you have been discussing with one of our team, we are speaking to Liverpool Airport regarding this as you should have not been charged when leaving as you had prepaid.
