This is a superb book covering the equipment needed to launch the world's first ballistic missile. Once you get into it you'll certainly understand how the equipment was arranged, how it was used, and how it was co-ordinated. I suspect that by the time the author has finished the other volumes you'll know how to actually fire the things. Virtually every special vehicle and trailer has a full set of 1/35 scale plans of which only one view runs over a binding - this doesn't matter at all as a partial plan covers the join area on a single page. Top marks to the people who took a bit more care than many others. With some care and a few parts like the wheels a collection of these could be made quite cheaply from basic materials. It would certainly make an interesting collection. It would also mean the cost per subject is extremely reasonable.

Excellent book with incredible detail about the various vehicles needed to launch V2 missiles. So comprehensive with extensive photo coverage, it is surely THE 'go-to' reference on the subject and I doubt it could ever be bettered.

The first in a series of books detailing a subject which up to now has been shrouded in mystery. Lots of pictures, drawings and very detailed text.
