During these last years, this book was for me a photograph in its catalog and a book that seemed like it would never come out. Once I have been able to review it, I can only tell you that it is an outstanding work and of a more than excellent workmanship, with exceptional photographic content and graphics. In my opinion it is a reference work for the study of the V2 project. I hope that the following books are of the same quality as this first volume.

This series of books have been announced about 10 years ago. I didn't think these will see the light of day during my life time. But I was wrong! This volume is well researched, drawings are awesome and quality photographs show every vehicle. This first book is basically a catalog of all vehicles used for the V2 program providing data on variants and modifications. This is not about the V2 rocket itself or the operational use of this weapon. I look forward to the following volumes.

A most excellent and detailed work for scholars, modellers, and parties interested in the complete story of the A4 rocket. I had no idea of the plethora of support equipment and vehciles. The level of detail is incredible. The pad launch layouts and the guide beam apparatus are of particular interest as I have never seen them covered before! I wait with much anticipation for volume 2.

A specialist volume on the vehicles, materials and background equipment and engineering required to launch rockets from Peenemunde. Researched in exhaustive detail, this is volume 1 in what will, hopefully be a two volume set that will comprehensively provide an excellent overview.

The photos are large, very clear, and amazing. The 1/35 scale drawings are also great. I'm looking forward to the publication of part 2.
