A good photographic record of destroyed Allied tanks from all fronts, ever mindful of the cost to the men who crewed these AFVs. The range of photos is in itself impressive; all are clearly produced- bear in mind the conditions the photos were taken in and the potential range of cameras - not modern smartphones or DSLRs. Captions are concise and helpful. Published in Panzerwrecks' standard size and format, the book is a product of their successful range.

Superb book on an often overlooked side of Allied armour. Great big sharp photos and impressive research. This book concentrates on the 1943-45 period. How about a similar themed one on France 1940 - all those A9s , A10s and A13s with their lovely rivets - real tanks!

I hadn't seen most of these pictures before, and they were great for trying to figure out how I'm going to mount tracks (and which kinds of track !) on my Flames of War minis.

After 27 books of knocked out German Armour, its now time to show that the allies lost AFV's as well, starting with Britsh Armour, as usual another excellent book in the series and well worth adding to your collection, roll on 29
